I decided to run away.

I took a veil to cover myself and slipped out of the Palace.

Now that it is morning, I am visiting the fortune tellers of the city, hoping

that some of them will understand magic. Those I have visited so far are

obviously scammers...

I see more guards than usual on the streets. My brother evidently found

out about my escape and gave orders to look for me.

I must pay attention...

A few hours later:

- "Let me go!"

- "Sorry, Princess Karima, but the Sultan ordered us to take you back to

the palace."

- "I beg you... you cannot understand! You have to let me go!"

- "Sorry, but we have orders. As royal guards we have to execute them."

I have no escape... They will take me back to my brother, who will be

furious...

How am I supposed to behave with him?

Should I ask him for forgiveness, hoping that he will be merciful?

Or should I make him understand that he will never bend me and that

his efforts are useless?
